Curio Pictures is thrilled to be working in partnership with Foxtel, Screen Australia and VicScreen on the new eight-part mystery thriller, High Country.

Commencing principal photography this month, the series will star Leah Purcell (The Drover’s Wife: The Legend of Molly Johnson), who is also executive producer, alongside Aaron Pederson (Mystery Road), Sara Wiseman (A Place to Call Home) and Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones).

High Country follows detective Andrea Whitford (Purcell) as she transferred to the Victorian High Country and thrust in a baffling mystery of five missing persons who have vanished into the wilderness. Whitford discovers a complex web involving murder, deceit and revenge.
